On the morning of July 11, 2025, at its headquarters in Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the People's Police Academy solemnly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of the Memorial House for President Ho Chi Minh. The ceremony was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr., Major General Do Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n

Attending the ceremony were members of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, leaders of affiliated units; representatives of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam \u2013 Thu Thiem Branch; and representatives of DCH Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company. Notably, Mr. Nguy\u1ec5n V\u0103n Th\u00e0nh \u2013 Chairman of the Board of Directors of DCH Group \u2013 was present as one of the key partners contributing to and accompanying the construction of this meaningful project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the approval of the Ministry of Public Security and the People\u2019s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Academy officially began construction of the Memorial House, with a total investment of over VND 3 billion. The funding was contributed by the Academy\u2019s staff, lecturers, and sponsors. The project includes a two-story building with a total construction floor area of 171.40 square meters (ground floor: 97.40 m\u00b2, second floor: 74.00 m\u00b2). The Memorial House is expected to be inaugurated in March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his remarks at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr., Major General Do Anh Tuan expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, relevant departments, the Academy\u2019s lecturers, and sponsors for their valuable support in funding the project. Commending the efforts and determination of all participating units in ensuring the project could commence as scheduled, Major General Do Anh Tuan emphasized that the Memorial House is not only a sacred symbol to educate generations of Public Security officers on patriotism but also a reminder to each Party member and officer to constantly engage in self-reflection, self-discipline, and moral cultivation, striving to live up to the trust of the Party, the State, and the People. The project also contributes to promoting the study and practice of President Ho Chi Minh\u2019s ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n

On that occasion, the President of the Academy requested the project owner, construction contractor, supervision consultant, project management consultant, and all related parties to uphold a high sense of responsibility and strictly comply with occupational safety regulations. He urged all units to provide maximum support and favorable conditions to ensure the project\u2019s progress, quality, and adherence to technical standards approved by the Ministry of Public Security, with the goal of completing the project in time for acceptance, operation, and to meaningfully commemorate the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 \u2013 May 19, 2026) and the 50th anniversary of the People's Police Academy (April 24, 1976 \u2013 April 24, 2026).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
