Schneider Electric and NVIDIA have announced a global strategic partnership to build the next generation of sustainable data centers and AI factories ready for scale. The partnership promises to accelerate the global AI roadmap, especially in Europe, which is aiming to invest \u20ac200 billion and establish at least 13 AI factories in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n

Connecting two \"giants\" of technology and energy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At NVIDIA GTC Paris, Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital transformation in energy management and automation, announced a partnership with NVIDIA, a giant in accelerated computing. The two sides will jointly promote R&D initiatives in areas such as power, cooling, control, and high-density racks to support the operation of next-generation AI factories globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership is key to the implementation of the European Commission\u2019s InvestAI initiative, which plans to mobilize \u20ac200 billion in AI investment and build infrastructure to support at least 13 AI factories, including up to five gigafactories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAI is a defining technology,\u201d said NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. \u201cWith Schneider Electric, we are building AI factories \u2013 the essential infrastructure that will bring AI to every company, industry, and society.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMore than just a partnership, we are co-developing the cutting-edge infrastructure that will power the next wave of AI factories,\u201d added Schneider Electric CEO Olivier Blum. \u201cThis strategic partnership enables Schneider Electric to continue pushing the boundaries of technology, especially in complex AI workloads.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launching an AI-Ready Data Center Ecosystem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the partnership, Schneider Electric announced a series of new products and solutions in the EcoStruxure\u2122 Pod and Rack Infrastructure ecosystem, supporting rapid deployment of AI data centers in a flexible, scalable modular model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, Schneider Electric developed a new rack system inspired by the Open Compute Project (OCP), supporting the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform using the NVIDIA MGX module architecture. This is also the first time Schneider Electric has integrated into NVIDIA's HGX and MGX ecosystems - the two leading standards for AI today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two companies previously developed the world\u2019s first digital twin for power and energy systems at an AI factory, using the NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint platform. Schneider Electric also serves as an official supplier of NVIDIA-approved CDUs (Cooling Distribution Units), and has developed multiple liquid cooling designs incorporating technology from Motivair, a company Schneider acquired in March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The combination of accelerated computing technology and advanced power management is helping shape a comprehensive AI infrastructure ecosystem: sustainable, modular, efficient, and future-ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
