Vietnam is increasingly affirming its position as a dynamic Technology Center of the Region and a key hub in the Global Supply Chain\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Currently, Vietnam ranks second and fifth globally in exporting smartphones and computers. The semiconductor industry alone is expected to surpass the $18 billion mark by 2024 (according to SEMI). The manufacturing and construction sectors continue to lead the country\u2019s economic growth, with 17.4 million workers and accounting for 33.4% of total employment nationwide (according to GSO). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Vietnam's National Strategy for Digital Economy and Digital Society Development aims to turn the country into a regional IT and cybersecurity center by 2030, prioritizing the development of AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, high-speed internet, green data centers, specialized IT parks, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GITEX \u2013 the world\u2019s largest and most highly regarded technology exhibition brand recently announced its expansion into the Vietnamese market, promising to bring Vietnam\u2019s rapidly growing technology ecosystem into a new era of vibrant global cooperation and innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside global technology companies, thought leaders, policymakers, startups and investors, the event will discuss the urgent changes shaping the next generation of technological innovation \u2013 from the startup economy, semiconductors, Industry 5.0, advanced manufacturing to artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), DevOps, cybersecurity and talent development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
